My favourite thing about barbering and hairdressing is the obvious themes in both; style and creativity. Fashion old and new has always been a big deal to me, so to be in a profession that conveys fashion, subculture and individuality is something I really love.

What do you love doing in your spare time?
In my spare time I enjoy listening to music, buying clothes and having a laugh with my friends – usually at the pub. Going to gigs is by far my favourite thing and Joe and I usually go together. Whether listening to repetitive beats in a dark warehouse or a band in an open field, I love it.

So, you live in Leeds, what do you love about the city?
The things I love about Leeds are the history of the place. It has always been big for music, culture and pretty much a great night out. Being part of a generation where new experimental varieties of fashion and music are big and being somewhere with an individual underground scene is pretty cool.
